They say you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl. Alexis and Harlee’s day included their own sentimental touches, including cowboy boots and Chaco sandals, and a reception at the beautifully restored farmhouse and barn at Scarlet Oaks Estate in Findlay, Ohio. The couple met when Alexis went to Nebraska to attend Concordia University. After graduating, she accepted a teaching job in Defiance, and the two moved to Northwest Ohio to begin their new chapter as Mr and Mrs. Alexis and Harlee said their I Do’s at Concordia Lutheran Church and the newlyweds, family and friends continued the celebration at Scarlet Oaks. The reception definitely matched their style with a down home country feeling. We had a great time getting to know them and capturing their best day ever. We love watching our couples begin this new journey and building a beautiful life together – lucky for us, social media keeps us updated!!
